General: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz X-TC3 is the newest and second most affordable digital interlink from Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3 replaces the Digitalz P2, with the letter 'P' no longer used in Ansuz Acoustics' new range. The new Digitalz X-TC3 belongs to the Steel Series by Ansuz Acoustics. The Steel Series by Ansuz is called the Steel Series because the gold-plated connectors are housed in a stainless steel (CRES 316) enclosure. The predecessor of the Digitalz X-TC3, the Digitalz P2, had connectors in an aluminum enclosure. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that presents a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, copper, stainless steel and even zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on the sound, it imparts an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at the source and stop using aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3 is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability. In the Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are also used. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a tinned copper mesh surrounding it. The Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3 is handmade in the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz X-TC3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3 clearly has more body and calm in the sound compared to the already excellent Ansuz Digitalz X3 digital interlink. There is more happening in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle, this is reflected in the Ansuz character that essentially all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about certain details and accents. But at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to discuss that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Digitalz X-TC3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds has passed, the time to listen to music has begun.
