General: The McIntosh MA252 is a 2 x 100 Watt integrated hybrid amplifier including a Phono input for MM cartridges. It also features a high-quality headphone amplifier built-in.

Technology: The McIntosh MA252 is a very stable and solidly built amplifier with distinctive engineering. The McIntosh MA252 offers 2 pairs of analog RCA inputs and 1 pair of analog XLR inputs, as well as a phono input for MM cartridges. It also has a Mono Pre Output on the MA252 for connecting a subwoofer. The menu includes bass and treble controls, allowing you to adjust the sound to your personal preference. The preamplifier in the McIntosh MA252 consists of two 12AX7a and two 12AT7 tubes. The McIntosh MA252 remains relatively cool thanks to specially designed cooling fins on the sides of the amplifier, developed by McIntosh itself. For protection, the McIntosh MA252 is equipped with 'Power Guard' which prevents the amplifier from clipping, ensuring your speakers remain safe. In case of overvoltage or short circuit, the McIntosh MA252 has a fuse-free protection system called 'Sentry Monitor'. By not using fuses, the current is virtually unimpeded, which benefits sound quality.

The 12AX7A & 12AT7 tubes have LED lights at the tube bases. These light up orange during warm-up and turn green when the MA252 is ready to use. These LED lights can also be easily switched on or off. At the very front you'll find 2 large glossy knobs for volume control and menu operation and input selection. The dimensions are 30.5cm (W) x 19.4cm (H) x 41.9cm (D), the MA252 weighs 13 kg.
