General : The Melody Everest 845 is, together with the Everest 211, a flagship integrated amplifier from the Australian brand Melody. The Melody Everest 845 is very solidly built and sounds even more musical, detailed and spacious than the series below the Everest line, which already have excellent build and sound quality.

Technical : The Melody Everest 845 features 2 x 28 Watts. This wattage is achieved by a single Melody 845 tube per channel, fully configured in Class A and thus completely Single Ended design. The remaining tubes are also of very high quality. You will also find 2 x Melody 300B, 2 x Western Electric 310A, 2 x Western Electric 429A and 1 x Western Electric 274B tubes. The tube quality from the factory is already extremely high. Inside you will find high-quality components such as Mundorf and RealCaps capacitors. The amplifiers are hand-assembled and use point-to-point wiring. Melody amplifiers are very durable and in the extremely rare case that repair would be needed, it is a breeze for virtually any technician. The Melody Everest 845 is very solidly built and features a sleek, minimalist design that blends easily into various audio setups. The chassis is made of solid aluminum with beautiful wooden side panels, the tube protection cage is solid aluminum and is magnetically attached to the amplifier, making it easy to install and remove. The whole unit weighs a full 54(!) kg. On the front are 2 illuminated ampere meters for bias adjustment, 2 large knobs for volume control and input selection. The Melody Everest 845 matches excellently with many types of speakers with average to high efficiency. The Melody Everest 845 is powerful enough to drive conventional speakers such as Sonus Faber speakers.
