General : The Melody AN300B MAX is a very solidly built integrated tube amplifier from the Australian brand Melody. The Melody AN300B MAX is larger, more beautiful and better than the entry-level Action series from Melody.

Technical : The Melody AN300B MAX delivers 2 x 21 Watts. This wattage is achieved by 2 Melody 300B tubes per channel (4 total). Preamplification is handled by 4 x Melody XF184 tubes and there is also a single Western Electric WE407 double triode tube. Inside you'll find high-quality components such as Mundorf capacitors, and point-to-point wiring is used throughout. Melody amplifiers are very durable and simple to repair if ever needed. The Melody AN300B MAX is very solidly built and features a sleek, minimalist design. The chassis is made of solid aluminum with beautiful wooden side panels, and weighs a substantial 33kg. On the front are 2 illuminated meters for bias adjustment, 2 large knobs for volume control and input selection. The Melody AN300B MAX matches excellently with speakers that have medium to high efficiency such as horn speakers or other high-efficiency loudspeakers.
