Technology : The Ansuz Mainz8 D2 is a flagship model from the Diamond 2 series of the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics. The Mainz8 reference series begins with the Mainz8 D2 and extends through the very exclusive D-TC Supreme. Above the D-TC Supreme you will find the absolute reference model of Ansuz Acoustics, the Mainz8 GOLD Signature. The Ansuz Mainz8 D2 makes use of many of Ansuz's distinctive techniques. The Ansuz Mainz8 D2 is equipped with Ansuz Star Grounding Technology. This technique ensures that noise cannot "bleed" to each individual cable. For noise elimination, the Ansuz Mainz8 D2 is equipped with 27 Active Cable Tesla Coils, which are coils mounted directly to the internal wiring. The Active Cable Tesla Coils consist of 2 parts : a coil and a counter coil. When the coil encounters a noise spike, the counter coil creates a counter spike out of phase. This cancels out the noise spike. The more Tesla Coils, the more effective the total amount of noise elimination. The Active Cable Tesla Coils work under voltage, making them up to 4 times more effective than the Passive Cable Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics. Finally, the Ansuz Mainz8 D2 also has 8 Analog Dither Circuitry units, a technique derived from radar technology. The Analog Dither Circuitry allows the Tesla Coils to emit pulsating signals with precisely determined frequencies. These signals are phase-shifted. The result of this technique is that the music signal is significantly amplified and the background noise floor is eliminated. The way Ansuz Acoustics addresses noise does not inhibit the current signal, so you do not experience any loss of dynamics.
