Technical : The Copland CTA-506 is equipped with beautiful, heavy and powerful KT120 tubes, 2 per channel. This results in a comfortable 90 Watts per channel output power with which most speakers can be driven. A set of KT120 tubes can deliver up to 200 Watts, but the KT120 in the Copland CTA-506 are set lower. This ensures a longer lifespan, but more importantly: lower distortion. The Copland CTA-506 can be connected both balanced and unbalanced. However, the amplifier itself is unbalanced and it is recommended to use RCA connections.

Listening : The Copland CTA-506 is a very musical amplifier. It sounds very natural, dynamic and refined. The soundstage is large, transparent and lively. Voices sound full of emotion, powerful and all details of instruments are reproduced with fine precision. In short, a lively, transparent yet warm sounding amplifier. This Copland CTA-506 was delivered to us new in box in December 2020 and is being sold as a demo model due to opening the box for photographs and the possibility of providing listening sessions. Of course, this Copland CTA-506 is in absolute new condition and the original packaging and accessories are present.
