General : Sleek and compact 2-way floor-standing loudspeaker from Dutch soil.

Technology : The Driade Premium Model 2 uses high-quality drivers. The silk dome tweeter was designed in collaboration with Eton. This tweeter has its own damped compartment in the cabinet to separate it from the rest of the loudspeaker. The midrange/woofer is a proprietary design manufactured in Germany. The cone consists of 2 layers of Kevlar with a hexagonal (honeycomb) interlayer for reinforcement. These materials are very light but also very rigid, for optimal acceleration but with minimal distortion. The internal wiring uses special conductors made of carbon, silver and copper. The crossover is also well thought out and complex, using very high-quality components and pure silver wire connections.

Listening : The Driade Premium Model 2 is clearly designed with a preference for live music. Acoustic instruments sound very clean and precise. Especially with multiple instruments playing simultaneously, you can hear very clearly exactly what each performer is doing. Voices are beautifully defined and easy to understand. The bass response is controlled and tight, making the Driade Premium Model 2 ideal for the Dutch living room. It is not a booming disco speaker, it is a precision instrument. Primarily suitable for live music, quiet classical, jazz or acoustic blues and vocal/folk music.

This Driade Premium Model 2 set is finished in black, and includes the optional front panels valued at € 400,-. The original packaging is also included.
