The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is the Basic Topline Power Conditioner from Gigawatt with 6 outputs and featuring Gigawatt Power Buffers on board. Designed as a connection station for the better HiFi and High End installation. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo features 3 sets of very advanced power purification circuits, thus 3 x 2 separate outputs for digital, low power analog and high power analog. Each output delivers 3850 watts continuous, thus total without loss of dynamics. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo also protects your installation against overload from sudden power surges. It is the ideal power source for any HiFi and Video installation. The Gigawatt Evo series Power Conditioners consume hardly any power and experience minimal wear. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is supplied standard with a very good power cord, the Gigawatt LC-1 MK3 in 1.5 meter length. However, this Gigawatt PC-2 Evo Power Conditioner is supplied with the Gigawatt LC-2 MK3 power cord. With this cable all positive properties are further improved.

Technology :

The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is equipped with advanced Multi Stage Parallel filter (Iron Powder Filtering Cores) instead of conventional transformers. This Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is also equipped with 3 separate zones. A separate zone for Digital devices (CD players, DA Converters, Streamers), a separate zone for low power Analog (Preamplifiers, Phono preamplifiers, Turntables) and a separate zone for High Power Analog (Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers). The advantage of this is that connected devices can no longer influence each other. A power amplifier may tend to send power back into the mains, and this method prevents that. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is made of very high quality components. Thanks to the new high efficiency filter circuits, the components are mounted on new boards, soldered with silver solder. The circuit boards themselves are single-sided, and equipped with 70 um thick copper traces. The power distribution is via heavy polished copper bars. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo has a special protection system, implemented without wires or fuses. Fuses affect signal speed, and are therefore not used. The overvoltage protection circuit is controlled by a sensor at the input, and is equipped with a Plasma relay. This way the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo offers your system excellent protection against overvoltage or power surges. Proper functioning of the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is indicated by a blue LED on the front. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is also equipped with an additional circuit that monitors the power supply. Also very handy is the Phase indication, via a red LED on the rear. If this lights up, the PC-2 Evo is incorrectly connected and you must reverse the power plug. This ensures your system is always correctly connected to the proper phase and the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo functions as it should. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is equipped with 6 high quality Gigawatt G-040 Shuko outlets. These outlets feature heavy brass bars, which at Gigawatt are silver-plated and polished. The large contact surface, and the heavy silver plating, guarantee a very long lifespan, even with repeated insertion and removal of plugs. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is built in a heavy and stable metal housing, features a massive anodized aluminum front, and stands on anti-resonance feet.

Connecting the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo has a major impact on the acoustic performance of your High End system.
