Technical: The Kronzilla SDI 35 is a unique amplifier. First and foremost, it uses the renowned T1610 tubes for amplification. This T1610 tube has been manufactured for decades and is unique in its class. The dimensions alone are enormous. The T1610 tube is a Single Ended dual triode and is solely responsible for amplifying the entire audio signal per channel. The T1610 is Single Ended, meaning there is no transition between positive and negative, resulting in a very natural reproduction. In the KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35, the T1610 tube is set entirely in Class A operation. This means some heat generation, but also the best possible sound quality. What is also very special about the KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35 is the fact that it contains no form of feedback. Not locally and not anywhere else. Simply Zero Feedback. The distortion figures increase somewhat as a result, but the sound quality is unrivaled in its naturalness, clarity and magical refinement. The powerful T1610 tubes are also the only tubes in the KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35. The bias setting of the T1610 tubes in the KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35 is done automatically. No further adjustments are necessary. The T1610 tube itself is hung on the vacuum pump for an extremely long time, making it ultra empty. The grids themselves are made of special material that barely degenerates. A lifespan of 10,000-15,000 hours is easily achievable, which means you can enjoy music with the same tubes for an extremely long time. The KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35 can be optimally adjusted for 4 Ohms and 8 Ohms speakers by means of adjusting screws. The KR Audio Kronzilla SDI 35 has no tubes in the control stage, but instead uses FETs, which retain the character of tubes but have much greater durability. FETs are also used by other manufacturers such as Metrum Acoustics because of these properties.

Nevertheless, the match is better with a speaker with somewhat higher efficiency or favorable impedance. A good match is for example with Blumenhofer horn speakers, but also for example high-end speakers with average efficiency such as Sonus Faber speakers show their best side with this fantastic amplifier.
