Overview : The Pass Int-250 is the newest, heaviest and best integrated amplifier from Pass

Technical : The Pass Labs INT-250 is a completely new amplifier from Pass labs USA. It is the big brother of the somewhat older INT-60. However, the INT-250 is built even heavier than the INT-60, and the INT-250, like the INT-60, is built with the latest circuits from the .8 series, and it is essentially the X-250.8 with a preamplifier specially designed for this amplifier. The Pass INT-250 is a fully balanced amplifier, from input to output. You get the best sound when you connect a true balanced CD player or DA Converter to this INT-250. The power supply is enormous, as are the enclosure and cooling fins. The Pass INT-250 plays up to 2 x 15 watts in pure Class A. The INT-250 also has the Bias meter built into the front panel. This meter indicates the idle current, and as soon as it starts to move the INT-250 exits Class A, but then it's already playing very loud. Also, like the INT-60, the INT-250 now has a very clear volume level indicator. Works really nice from a distance.

Sound : Sound-wise, the INT-250 is one of the best integrated amplifiers you can buy. More soundstage, more detail, considerably more dynamics than the old series, but fortunately with the preservation of the typical neutral, warm sound that Pass Labs is known for. This Pass Labs INT-250 can really handle very large systems, and also has no problem with a set of Avalon Time of Isis, Magico Q7 or Vienna Acoustics The Music, to name just a few.
