These are the new Pass Monoblocks from the new .8 series. Larger, much heavier, thicker power supplies, truly everything has been improved. Pass Labs USA worked on it for 7 years, and the result is impressive. The XA 60.8 is set higher in Class A. The output stage uses more, and higher power Mosfets. The XA 60.8 has larger capacitors and they are also arranged differently. The heatsinks are completely redesigned and much larger than those of the older versions. The connections on the back are also improved. Heavier speaker cable terminals, with an automatic stopper. Overtightening is no longer possible. Furthermore, the look has changed. More modern, quieter. More beautiful? Everyone can decide that for themselves. Of course, this Pass Labs XA 60.8 is again fully balanced from input to output. Sound-wise, there have also been some changes. The Pass Labs XA 60.8 sounds noticeably cleaner, more powerful and airier than the older series. The musicality has also increased, and that is of course the best improvement.
