General : Highly technically accomplished loudspeakers with a pleasant size from Verity Audio Canada.

Technical : The Verity Audio Leonore features specially custom-designed and manufactured drivers. The tweeter is a 25mm Neo Ring Fabric Dome and the midrange driver consists of a 100mm polypropylene cone. For the low tones there are two 165mm paper cone woofers located on the angled rear of the loudspeaker, accompanied by a large bass port. Of course, when positioning the Leonore, you must pay careful attention to the distance from the rear wall, as this is a loudspeaker that appreciates some breathing room. With its 8 Ohm impedance and 93 dB at 1 Watt, the Verity Audio Leonore is easy to drive but does require an amplifier matched in sound character to extract optimal performance. The cabinet of the Verity Audio Leonore consists of two sections screwed together. Between the two sections are 4 anti-resonance rubber feet and a solid platform to protect the tweeter from resonances emanating from the bass section. The front baffle for the midrange and tweeter is designed to reduce certain radiations and helps improve the soundstage.

Listening : The Verity Audio Leonore sounds wonderfully refined and smooth. Vocals come across naturally and blend into your ears in an extremely comfortable manner. The bass is pure and soothing, yet also tight and detailed. The treble is rich, refreshing yet at the same time vibrant. Music flows smoothly from the loudspeaker, and the Leonore is suitable for many genres. The Verity Audio Leonore are speakers you grow attached to over time, but they do require some attention to your room's acoustics. Once settled and properly placed, you won't want anything else. This set of Leonore was purchased as a demo in August 2018, barely used, is in absolute mint condition, and comes complete with OVP, manual, and spikes.
