Overview : The new Gigawatt PowerSync Plus powercord is the latest powercord from Gigawatt. The PowerSync Plus is a better and thicker version of the standard PowerSync. With conductors made from pure OFHC copper. Fully shielded with aluminium foil, PVC and braided fibreglass & nylon and equipped with excellent connectors. This high quality powercord is very suitable for many hifi and video components, and the Gigawatt Powerstrips and Powerconditioners also perform excellently with this cable.

Gigawatt uses only pure quality in their products. The difference between all Gigawatt cables lies in the choice of materials, the amount of conducting material, the damping properties and the shielding and possible application of Nano filters.

The conductors of the Gigawatt PowerSync Plus consist of 3 x 2.5mm2 OFHC copper conductors. The conductors are multi strand, consisting of 12 solid core wires with a diameter of 0.514mm. OFHC stands for Oxygen Free High Conductivity 99.997% copper, a very pure material that causes little to no distortion. The Gigawatt PowerSync Plus powercord also has an uninsulated tinned wire for contact with the inner layer of shielding foil over the entire length of the cable, which means the entire shielding of the cable is active and no radiation from outside is let in. Around the inner aluminium shielding layer there are 2 more layers of shielding, namely 1 layer of PVC, and around the PVC layer you will find the outer layer which consists of braided fibreglass & nylon. The very low impedance of the cable makes the Gigawatt PowerSync Plus suitable for better Hifi and High End audio and Video installations. The connecting plugs are the excellent and solid Gigawatt G-010N and G-030N connectors, made of pure OFC copper and protected with a nickel coating layer.

Listening : The Gigawatt PowerSync Plus is a cable that does everything well. Beautiful dynamics coupled with a pure sound image. The bass is tight and well-defined. The Gigawatt PowerSync Plus has thicker conductors than the standard PowerSync ( without Plus ) and therefore the PowerSync Plus sounds somewhat more powerful, but also more controlled than the standard PowerSync, which is why the PowerSync Plus is more suitable for use in combination with amplifiers, but the difference is also noticeable on other equipment. The Gigawatt PowerSync Plus is the ideal entry cable in the High End Audio world, and the sound difference with standard supplied cables from equipment is significant.
