General : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is the flagship powercord model of Ansuz Acoustics and it is the best powercord available on the market. Technically and sonically it is by far the finest cable available on the market. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is the latest cable in the D-TC Gold Signature series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature replaces the Mainz D-TC Gold Signature. The new Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is the top model of the Titanium Series from Ansuz Acoustics. The Titanium Series from Ansuz is among the absolute reference cables, this series is called the Titanium Series because the gold-plated connectors have an enclosure made of solid Titanium. The predecessor of the Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature, the Mainz D-TC Gold Signature, had connectors in an aluminum enclosure with Supreme and Zirconium coating. And for Ansuz Acoustics this presents a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz operates) is constantly investigating different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound, it creates an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark chose to address the problem at the source and no longer use aluminum in its products.

The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature makes use of many Ansuz noise cancelling and inductance reducing techniques, more on this later. But the Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature distinguishes itself from the rest of Ansuz Acoustics' cables by using conductors that are not only silver-plated, but also gold-plated. Hence the name Gold Signature. The conductors are cut to size and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability. In addition to the double solidcore main conductors, the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature uses 48 smaller 0.3mm² conductors wrapped in a double Helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called the Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). Additionally, a maximum amount of Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) is applied in the Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature. Because the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature also features AARC technology, and to a much greater extent compared to the Mainz D-TC3, less noise enters your equipment compared to the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3, D3, C3, A3, X-TC3 and X3.

Reference Techniques : The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature distinguishes itself further by having 2 enormous blocks attached to the cable. These blocks are made of special 3D printed plastic. In these blocks are no fewer than 128 pieces of Ansuz Active Square Tesla Coils for extra noise cancelling. These Active Square Tesla Coils are driven by 16 pieces of Analog Dither Circuitry which enhance the music signal by having the Active Square Tesla Coils emit pulsating signals out of phase at a specific frequency, which expands the musical range. In the cable, a total of 36 pieces of Active Zirconium Cable Tesla Coils are also applied, these Tesla Coils feature a solid Zirconium rod in the core of the coils and they operate under voltage making them 3-4 times more effective than Ansuz's passive Tesla Coils. Finally, the entire dielectric is also charged, referred to as Charged Dielectric. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is hand-made in the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 Gold Signature is undoubtedly the most musical powercord on the market.
