General : The Antipodes CX is a fully integrated Pure Audio server/streamer with Roon server and player software installed.

Description : The Antipodes CX was a breakthrough in the streaming world in terms of sound quality. Even today, it is one of the best-sounding streamers on the market in its price range, especially at a sharp second-hand price. The latest Antipodes software is installed.

You are not required to use Roon, the Antipodes CX can also be used with the following software :

Server Software Options : RoonServer, Squeezebox Server, MinimServer, MiniDLNA, Sonos Server, PlCX Media Server and HQplayer Server.
Player Software Options : RoonReady, Squeezelite, MPD/DLNA, HQplayer, Spotify Connect, Shairport.

Technology : The Antipodes CX is built in a very heavy and stable CNC-milled solid aluminum housing. The CX housing consists of 4 separate chambers. The wiring, power supply, switch and SSD disks are now completely separated.

Storage : The Antipodes CX is standard supplied without storage for music. You can easily install an SSD yourself (up to 8TB) and configure it. The Antipodes CX has 2 slots for SSD storage, if you fill the first drive, you can simply insert a second drive to expand the memory. Ohm-Audio B.V. provides support when needed, or you can also purchase an SSD from us, then we will install it in the Antipodes CX before you receive it.

Outputs : The Antipodes CX has 2 audio outputs. First, there is the most commonly used USB Pure Audio output. An optimized output with its own regulated power supply. Very important because the USB output of the Antipodes CX powers the USB input of your DAC. In addition, the Antipodes CX has a Direct Stream output to connect directly to a player, for example a separate streamer or a DAC with RoonReady functionality. Audio Formats : The Antipodes CX plays all existing music formats, such as MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, DSD up to DSD512 and MQA decoding.
