The DBS System applies a permanent voltage of 72 volts to the insulation and a conductor that runs through the core of the cable. This aligns all electrons in one direction. The conductors are 4 x 1.65mm2 thick and made of 100% Solid Perfect Surface Copper+ ( PSC+ ). The AudioQuest Type 9+ DBS has a nice balanced sound character.
