General: It is well known that the CD is generally a flawless medium. Even so, there are certain treatments for CDs that can improve the sound quality. Think of polishing, demagnetizing or discharging static electricity. The Nespa Pro takes a slightly different approach. From the factory, or after frequent use, a CD will undergo microscopic contamination. This reduces the precision with which a laser reads the data from the CD. The Nanotec Nespa Pro uses an ultra-bright lamp to "evaporate" these contaminants in a very short flash. The result is a CD that is cleaner and plays more smoothly because less error correction needs to be applied. This Nanotec Nespa Pro is in good working condition. However, we cannot confirm the number of spin cycles and therefore the lifespan of the lamp.
