General : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC2 is an ultra high-end powercord from the reference Series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark (above the D-TC2 are the D-TC Supreme and the GOLD Signature). The cable is finished to very high standards with gold-plated connectors in an anodized aluminum housing and effective shielding. The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC2 uses the unique 'Direct Ground Connector', Active Square Tesla Coils and Analog Dither Technology technologies from Ansuz Acoustics. With the Mainz X2 through D2 only passive technologies are used to lower the noise floor, with the Mainz D-TC2 active technologies are also used which are even more efficient in eliminating noise, resulting in a blacker background and more detailed reproduction. Tesla Coils are also applied in the equipment of Ansuz Acoustics' sister brands (Aavik Acoustics and Børresen Acoustics). All these techniques are applied for optimal noise suppression and grounding of the cable in a way that is not restrictive to signal transmission and has no (negative) impact on sound quality. This makes the cables from Ansuz Acoustics sound very clean, transparent, open and stress-free. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC2 is a clear step forward compared to the already extremely good sounding Mainz8 D2 powercord. This fact ensures that new standards are set in the sound quality of powercords. Ansuz Acoustics Techniques in the Mainz D-TC2 :

Direct Ground Connector : A technique that ensures that the ground potential between different devices is minimized, which results in a lower noise floor

Anti Aerial Resonance Coil : All cables have the property that they also function as an antenna for unwanted RFI noise signals in the air. The AARC technology ensures that this effect is greatly reduced so that the signal has less interference, this results in less contamination in the signal path and therefore a purer and cleaner signal for audio purposes.

Active Square Tesla Coil : In the large blocks on the cables are circuit boards on which the Active Square Tesla Coils are mounted. 1 Coil on one side and a Counter Coil on the other side. When a noise spike passes through one Square Coil, the Counter Coil creates a counter spike, which reduces the noise floor, the more Tesla Coils on the circuit board, the more effectively the noise is eliminated

Analog Dither Technology : A technique derived from radar technology to create a stronger signal with greater range. Active Tesla Coils emit pulsating signals with precisely determined frequencies. These signals are phase-shifted. This significantly amplifies the music signal and eliminates background noise
