General: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz C3 is the latest digital interlink from the C-series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 replaces the Digitalz C2. The new Digitalz C3 is the model above the Digitalz A3 from the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series from Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the casing of the plated connectors is made of solid copper. The predecessor of the Digitalz C3, the Digitalz C2, had connectors in an aluminum casing. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that's a problem. Audio Group Denmark (where Ansuz belongs) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound quality; it creates an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and induces hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems aluminum causes later, Audio Group Denmark chose to address the problem at its source and no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is a very rigid twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. In the Ansuz Digitalz C3, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are used. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 has a larger number of DIHC compared to the Digitalz A3 and X-TC3, so even less noise reaches the signal and less inductance is generated. In addition, Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) have been applied in the Ansuz Signalz C3 compared to the Ansuz Signalz A3. Because the Ansuz Signalz C3 also features AARC technology, even less external noise reaches your equipment compared to the Ansuz Signalz C3, X-TC3 and X3. The conductors are effectively insulated in Teflon, which is then surrounded by a tinned copper mesh. In the case of the Signalz C3, a double insulation has been applied, whereas the Signalz A3, X-TC3 and X3 have a single insulation. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is handmade in the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz C3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. Compared to the Digitalz A3, the Digitalz C3 has more air, more energy and more liveliness. While the amount of calm and detail increases. The sound image is more defined and the soundstage is better arranged and more balanced. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is yet another clear step better than the already excellent Digitalz A3. There is more happening in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be, but it's not unnecessary spectacle. This is recognizable in the Ansuz character that virtually all Ansuz cables possess. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about certain details and accents, but with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to. Instead, we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant, and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds has ended; the time to listen to music has begun.
