General: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz C3 is the latest digital interlink from the C-series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 replaces the Digitalz C2. The new Digitalz C3 is the model above the Digitalz A3 from the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series from Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors is made of solid copper. The predecessor of the Digitalz C3, the Digitalz C2, had connectors in an aluminum housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics that is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (where Ansuz falls under) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound, it gives an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at its source and therefore no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is a very stiff twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. With the Ansuz Digitalz C3, in addition to the solid core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are used. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 has a greater amount of DIHC compared to the Digitalz A3 and X-TC3, so even less noise enters the signal and less inductance is generated. In addition, Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) are also applied in the Ansuz Signalz C3 compared to the Ansuz Signalz A3. Because the Ansuz Signalz C3 also has the AARC technology, even less external noise enters your equipment than with the Ansuz Signalz C3, X-TC3 and X3. The conductors are effectively insulated in Teflon and then surrounded by a mesh of tinned copper, in the case of the Signalz C3 double insulation is even applied while the Signalz A3, X-TC3 and X3 have single insulation. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is handmade in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz C3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. Compared to the Digitalz A3, the Digitalz C3 has more air, more energy and more liveliness. While the amount of calmness and detail increases. The sound image is more clearly drawn and the soundstage is better defined and more balanced. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is once again a clear step better than the already excellent Digitalz A3. There is more happening in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle, you recognize this in the Ansuz character which actually all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music, we can talk about certain details and accents. But at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to discuss that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that the products of Ansuz Acoustics bring with them. The Ansuz Digitalz C3 is certainly no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately involved with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over, the time to listen to music has begun.
