General: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is the latest digital interlink from the D-TC Supreme series by Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme replaces the Digitalz D-TC Supreme. The new Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is the model above the Digitalz D-TC3 from the flagship Titanium Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Titanium Series from Ansuz is called the Titanium Series because the housings of the gold-plated connectors are made of solid titanium. The predecessor of the Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme, the Digitalz D-TC Supreme, had connectors in an aluminum housing with supreme coating around it. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that's a problem. Audio Group Denmark (of which Ansuz is part) is constantly researching different materials. Various materials such as Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound, it creates an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at the source and no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and are stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. In the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are used. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme features double the amount of DIHC compared to the Digitalz D3, resulting in even less noise in the signal and reduced inductance generation. Additionally, the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme also features double the amount of Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) compared to the Digitalz D3. This technique is designed to prevent noise from leaking into the conductors. All conductors function as a kind of antenna that picks up signals from the air. This is why you can use a simple copper wire for a radio to listen to radio broadcasts. What you don't want is for this interference to get into your music signal, ethernet signal or power signal in your equipment. The AARC functions as a kind of lightning rod for noise. External interference reaches the AARC before it reaches the conductors, and because the AARC consists of 2 coils, one of which is wound in the opposite direction, the captured noise is eliminated. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a mesh of tinned copper around it. In the case of the Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme, double insulation is even applied. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is handmade in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg Denmark.

Reference Techniques: The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme also features Active Cable Tesla Coils. The active Tesla Coils are 3-4 times more effective than the passive Tesla Coils from Ansuz Acoustics. However, the active Tesla Coils must be powered before they perform their function. For this purpose, a block with a 3.5mm jack input hangs on the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme. Using the included jack cable, you can connect the Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme to an Ansuz PowerSwitch or Ansuz PowerBox. For the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme, the use of a PowerSwitch or PowerBox is mandatory. What the Ansuz D-TC3 Supreme also has is an active charged dielectric. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme takes a significant step further in terms of musicality, liveliness, airiness, detail and spatial imaging compared to cables from a lower level of Ansuz Acoustics.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. Compared to the Digitalz D3, the Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme features significantly more transparency, air and liveliness. The soundstage is larger, deeper and better organized. The sound is even more interesting and refined. The music embraces you more and the spatial imaging is even quieter and more defined. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is indeed another clear step better than the already excellent Digitalz D3. More happens in the soundscape and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be, but it's not unnecessary spectacle. You'll recognize this in the Ansuz character, which is actually present in all Ansuz cables. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about certain details and accents. But with Ansuz Acoustics, we don't need to talk about that. Instead, we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant, and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds has ended, the time to listen to music has begun.
