General: The Audio Research I/50 is a hand-built tube amplifier from the USA. It is one of the most modern designs Audio Research has ever made. The Audio Research I/50 also features a headphone amplifier. The output section consists of a set of Matched Pairs 6550WE tubes and 3 input driver tubes. The generous output power of 2 x 50 Watts continuous works well with many types of speakers. In terms of sound quality, the new Audio Research I/50 is a true highlight. Extremely refined, extremely dynamic, and very musical. The Audio Research I/50 has only had a few demo plays and is supplied complete with the optional DAC module and Phono module and 2 year warranty (90 days on the tubes).
