General : The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz C3 is the latest speaker cable from the C-series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Speakz C3 replaces the Speakz C2. The new Speakz C3 is the mid-range speaker cable from the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series of Ansuz is named the Copper Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors and cable splitter blocks are made of solid copper. The predecessor of the Speakz C3, the Speakz C2, had connectors in an aluminum housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics that is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (to which Ansuz belongs) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid the material aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound, it gives an artificial tone due to resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark chose to tackle the problem at the source and therefore no longer uses aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Speakz C3 is a very stiff twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability. With the Ansuz Speakz C3 compared to the Speakz X3, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, 24 smaller 0.3mm² conductors are used which are wound in a double Helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called the Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). Additionally, Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) are also used in the Ansuz Speakz C3 compared to the Ansuz Speakz A3. Because the Ansuz Speakz C3 has the AARC technology, less noise ends up in your equipment than with the Ansuz Speakz A3, X-TC3 and X3. The Ansuz Speakz C3 is handmade in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz C3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. Compared to the Speakz A3, the Speakz C3 has more air, more energy and more liveliness. While the amount of calm and detail increases. The sound image is more articulate and the soundstage is better organized and more balanced. The Ansuz Speakz C3 is still a clear step better than the already outstanding Speakz A3. More happens in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle, this is reflected in the Ansuz character which actually all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about certain details and accents. But with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them.
