The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is the Basic Power Conditioner from Gigawatt. Designed as a connection station for the better Hi-Fi installation. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo features a double set of very advanced power purification circuits, so 2 x 2 separate outputs for digital and analog. Each output delivers 3850 watts continuously, so total without loss of dynamics. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo also protects your installation against overload from sudden power surges. It is the ideal power source for every Hi-Fi and Video installation. The Gigawatt Evo series power conditioners consume barely any power and have minimal wear. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is supplied standard with a very good power cord, the Gigawatt LC-1 MK3 in 1.5 meter length. This power conditioner is also available with the Gigawatt LC-2 MK3 power cord. With this cable, all positive properties are further improved.

Despite the fact that the Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is the most affordable power conditioner from Gigawatt, it is an excellent device to improve the performance of your system. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is very solidly built, and features a solid aluminum front.

Technology :

The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is equipped with advanced Multi Stage Parallel filter instead of the conventional transformers. This Gigawatt PC-1 Evo also features 2 separate zones. This allows you to separate, for example, digital and analog sources from each other. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is made of high-quality components. Due to the new high efficiency filter circuits, the components are mounted on new boards, soldered with silver solder. The circuit boards themselves are single-sided, and feature 70 um thick copper tracks. Power distribution is via heavy polished copper bars. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo has a special protection system, implemented without wires or fuses. These can affect signal speed, and are therefore not used. The overvoltage protection circuit is controlled by a sensor at the input, and features a Plasma relay. This way the Gigawatt PC-1 Evo provides your system excellent protection against overvoltage or power surges. Proper operation of the Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is indicated by a blue LED on the front. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo also features an extra circuit that monitors the power supply. Also very handy is the Phase indication, via a red LED on the rear. This ensures your system is always properly connected. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is equipped with 4 high quality Gigawatt G-040 Shuko Outlets. These outlets feature heavy brass bars, which at Gigawatt are silver-plated and polished. The large contact surface, and the heavy silver coating, guarantees a very long lifespan, even with repeated plugging and unplugging of the connectors. The Gigawatt PC-1 Evo is built in a heavy metal enclosure, with a solid anodized aluminum front, and stands on anti-resonance feet.
