General: The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz D-TC3 is the latest speaker cable in the D-TC series from Ansuz Acoustics in Denmark. The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 replaces the Speakz D-TC2. The new Speakz D-TC3 is the entry point to the absolute reference cables in the Titanium Series from Ansuz Acoustics. The Titanium Series of Ansuz is called the Titanium Series because the housings of the gold-plated connectors are made of solid titanium. The predecessor of the Speakz D-TC3, the Speakz D-TC2, had connectors in an aluminum housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics, this posed a problem. Audio Group Denmark (of which Ansuz is part) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, copper, stainless steel and even zirconium are therefore used very often. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound: it creates an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and it induces hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems caused by aluminum later on, Audio Group Denmark chose to address the problem at its source and no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and are stripped by a special machine so as not to damage the conductor surface. The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 is a very rigidly twisted cable, which results in less noise in the conductors and improved mechanical stability. In addition to the solid-core main conductors, the Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 also uses 24 smaller 0.3 mm² conductors wound in a double helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 also incorporates Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC); compared to the Speakz D3, the Speakz D-TC3 uses double the amount of AARC. Because the Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 features a large amount of AARC technology, less noise enters your signal, resulting in a cleaner, freer and more pronounced reproduction with a blacker and quieter background. The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 is handmade at the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Reference Technologies: The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 stands out even more because of the 2 huge blocks hanging from the cable. These blocks are made of a specially 3D printed plastic. Inside these blocks are no fewer than 256 Ansuz Active Square Tesla Coils for extra noise cancelling. These Active Square Tesla Coils are driven, among other things, by 16 Analog Dither Circuitry units, which amplify the music signal by having the Active Square Tesla Coils emit pulsing signals out of phase at a precisely determined frequency, which increases the musical range. Finally, the entire dielectric has also been placed under voltage, also known as a Charged Dielectric. An Ansuz PowerBox is required for this, to power the Active Square Tesla Coils and to charge the dielectric. Without an Ansuz PowerBox model with 14V connections, there is no point in purchasing the Speakz D-TC3 Supreme.

Sound characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz D-TC3 has a natural, powerful and spacious sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic, and the dynamics are solid. Compared to the Speakz D3, the Speakz D-TC3 has a lot more energy, more liveliness and air, while the amount of calmness increases. But the Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 is also a clear step further than the Speakz D3 in terms of quality and musicality. With the Ansuz Speakz D-TC3, the soundstage is larger and deeper, more defined, and the soundstage is better arranged and more balanced. In addition, listening to the Speakz D-TC3 is simply more interesting, a more immersive listening experience. The Ansuz Speakz D-TC3 is once again a clear step better than the already outstanding Speakz D3. More happens in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be, but it is not unnecessary spectacle, which you recognize in the Ansuz character that virtually all Ansuz cables share. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about certain details and accents, but at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about those; instead, we talk about the tremendous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring.
