General: The sound quality of the music you stream is not only dependent on your streamer and the streaming service or storage location used. The network switch can also help tremendously in perfecting the sound quality of streamed music. Before an internet signal enters your house via an ethernet cable, many noise signals are picked up from outside and via equipment where noise floor is not considered since it is irrelevant, for example in laptops, gaming consoles and PCs. So although the incoming signal is usable, it is contaminated, and you hear that back in the sound quality. A contaminated signal sounds murky, compressed and restless. The Ansuz Acoustics network switches are designed with a keen eye for an efficient way of noise suppression and signal distribution. The intention is that you go directly from your modem/router to the Ansuz Powerswitch D-TC3 Supreme with a LAN/Ethernet cable. The Ansuz Powerswitch D-TC3 Supreme then filters contamination from the incoming signal and lowers the noise floor. The Ansuz D-TC3 Supreme Switch prevents all contaminating signals from entering your equipment. This provides for a cleaner, but especially also more refined, calmer and more analog sound reproduction.

Technology: All PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics are equipped with various noise suppressing and music signal enhancing technologies. The PowerSwitches of Ansuz Acoustics suppress noise through their own Tesla Coil technology. The Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics are an effective and high-quality technique, based on a simple principle. A Tesla Coil consists of 2 coils, a coil and a counter coil. As soon as the coil detects a noise spike, the counter coil creates a noise spike out of phase, which cancels out the initial noise spike. Think of it as a noise cancelling headphone, which does exactly the same, except a noise cancelling headphone does this electronically while the Ansuz Tesla Coils do this mechanically. The more Tesla Coils applied in the signal path, the better the noise is eliminated. The difference between the different PowerSwitches of Ansuz Acoustics lies in the quantity and different types of Tesla Coils applied, whereby the most expensive PowerSwitch from Ansuz, the D-TC GOLD Signature, contains the greatest amount and most advanced Tesla Coils for the most optimal noise suppression and sound quality, furthermore it also has a better housing and the circuit boards are internally mounted on Ansuz Darkz decoupling isolators.

The Ansuz PowerSwitch D-TC3 is a high-end reference model PowerSwitch, only the flagship model PowerSwitch (GOLD Signature) sits above it. The Ansuz PowerSwitch D-TC3 sounds another step better than the already excellent PowerSwitch D3, A3 and X-TC3. Also, the newer generation PowerSwitches sound more open, transparent and energetic compared to the previous series. The Ansuz PowerSwitch D-TC3 has no less than 90 Active Square Tesla Coils, 3 Active Zirconium Tesla Coils, 2 Active Cable Tesla Coils and 5 pieces of Analog Dither Circuitry Gen.3. Additionally, 2 Anti Aerial Resonance Coils have been applied. As an extra compared to the Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3/A3/D3, the PowerSwitch D-TC3 also uses Ansuz's highly effective Active Tesla Coils, 60 pieces, which are mounted on their own circuit board and not around the wiring like the Active Cable Tesla Coils. The Ansuz PowerSwitch D-TC3 thus has much more extensive noise suppression compared to the PowerSwitch D3, A3 and X-TC3. The Ansuz PowerSwitch D-TC3 features high-quality and stable internal power supply, so you don't need to incur extra costs by purchasing an expensive external linear power supply.

All PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics are equipped with a built-in Ansuz Acoustics PowerBox. On the cables of the Ansuz D2-series and higher is a block with a 3.5" Jack input which can be connected to the Ansuz PowerSwitch via a Jack cable supplied with the Ansuz cable. In the block of the Ansuz D2-series cables and higher are Active Tesla Coils, these are Tesla Coils which work under voltage, these Tesla Coils are up to 4 times as effective as the Passive Tesla Coils. However, the Active Tesla Coils must first be energized, for this the PowerBox functionality was created. This provides for a lower noise floor and less ground potential difference between equipment.
