General : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 Supreme is the latest cable in the D-TC Supreme series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme replaces the Mainz D-TC Supreme. The new Mainz D-TC3 Supreme belongs to the Titanium Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Titanium Series of Ansuz is the absolute reference among cables; this series is called the Titanium Series because the gold-plated connectors have a housing made of solid Titanium. The predecessor of the Mainz D-TC3 Supreme, the Mainz D-TC Supreme, had connectors in an aluminum housing with Supreme coating. And for Ansuz Acoustics there is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (of which Ansuz is part) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound; it creates an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and induces hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to address the problem at the source and therefore no longer uses aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and are stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme is a very tightly twisted cable which ensures less noise in the conductors and improved mechanical stability. In addition to the double solidcore main conductors, the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme also uses 48 smaller 0.3mm² conductors which are wound in a double Helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called the Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). Furthermore, the Mainz D-TC3 Supreme features a maximum amount of Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC). This technique is designed to prevent noise leakage in the conductors. Because the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme has the AARC technology, and to a much greater extent compared to the Mainz D-TC3, less noise reaches your equipment than with the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3, D3, C3, A3, X-TC3 and X3.

Reference Technologies : The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme distinguishes itself further by having 2 enormous blocks attached to the cable. These blocks are made of specially 3D-printed plastic. These blocks contain a total of 128 Ansuz Active Square Tesla Coils for extra noise cancelling. These Active Square Tesla Coils are controlled by 16 Analog Dither Circuitry units which amplify the music signal by having the Active Square Tesla Coils emit pulsating signals out of phase at a precisely etermined frequency, which expands the musical range. The cable also features a total of 24 Active Cable Tesla Coils, which operate under voltage making them 3-4 times more effective than Ansuz's passive Tesla Coils. Finally, the entire dielectric is also charged, known as Charged Dielectric. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme is hand-made at the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 Supreme has a natural, powerful and spacious sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 Supreme is a true reference cable. Compared to the Mainz D-TC3, the Mainz D-TC3 Supreme has significantly more energy, there is more engagement and more space. The sound moves and lives even more and is much more engaging to listen to. There is more happening in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle; this is reflected in the Ansuz character which practically all Ansuz cables possess.
