General : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 is the latest cable in the D-TC series from Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 replaces the Mainz D-TC2. The new Mainz D-TC3 belongs to the Titanium Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Titanium Series from Ansuz represents the absolute reference among cables. The series is called the Titanium Series because the gold-plated connectors have a housing made of solid Titanium. The predecessor of the Mainz D-TC3, the Mainz D-TC2, had connectors in an aluminium housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics that poses a problem. Audio Group Denmark (of which Ansuz is a part) is constantly investigating different materials. Materials such as Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminium in its new products. Aluminium has a negative effect on sound quality, producing an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and causing hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminium later on, Audio Group Denmark chose to tackle the problem at the source and no longer use aluminium in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability. In addition to the solidcore main conductors, the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 uses 24 smaller 0.3mm² conductors which are wound in a double Helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). Furthermore, Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) are used in the Mainz D-TC3. Because the Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 also features the AARC technology, and to a much greater extent compared to the Mainz D3, there is less noise in your equipment than with the Ansuz Mainz D3, C3, A3, X-TC3 and X3.

Reference Technologies : The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 distinguishes itself further by having 2 enormous blocks attached to the cable. These blocks are made of a special 3D printed plastic. These blocks contain no fewer than 128 Ansuz Active Square Tesla Coils for extra noise cancelling. These Active Square Tesla Coils are driven by 8 Analog Dither Circuitry units which amplify the music signal by having the Active Square Tesla Coils emit pulsating signals out of phase at a precisely determined frequency, which expands the musical range. Finally, the entire dielectric is also energized, or a Charged Dielectric. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 is handmade at the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Mainz D-TC3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Mainz D-TC3 is a true reference cable. Compared to the Mainz D3, the Mainz D-TC3 has significantly more energy, more involvement and more space. The sound moves and lives even more and is much more engaging to listen to. There is more happening in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is no unnecessary spectacle, which you recognize in the Ansuz character that actually all Ansuz cables possess. Everything you hear is pure music presented in a very easy and effortless way. We could talk about certain details and accents, but at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them.
